Todd and I just got back from a relaxing trip to Jamaica. We enjoyed each other's company and weren't really ready to come back to reality. Although, seeing the boys made it all better.
James continues to do well in school. We only have one more quarter left and then he will be a big 5th grader. YIKES!!!
Caden has learned to count to 10 and loves to sing with James when he has his music on. He has a mind of his own and can be stubborn. I like to say that comes from his dad, but I have to be honest, I'm sure it is a Bigari/Meyers trait!
James and Caden amaze us each day with their awesome personalities. We are looking forward to next weekend, when the Easter Bunny visits!

Good News!
We met with a dermatologist at Children's Hospital today. She confirmed that he has pigmented purpura. She told us that it is not life threatening or anything to worry about. The doctor also said that there is no confirmed study that shows it is related to over the counter medicine or penicillin. We were relieved with this news, knowing that we have family members allergic. Our doctor prescribed a cream steroid to try. She is going to contact our pediatrician to see if they have a platelet count. If not, they will do this and see if that shows anything. She is going to take a deeper look at the biopsy report that was done last year. Due to miscommunication, she didn't receive it before our appointment. She will let us know if she thinks somethings looks abnormal.
We will keep everybody posted!

Caden
Most of you know that Caden was diagnosed with pigmented purpurra last year. His condition is not getting better so our pediatrician has referred us to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. We have an appointment at the end of February. We look forward to talking to pediatric specialists and hopefully understand this condition better. We will keep you all posted!
